Vet vacancy at a practice in Lancashire.
Salary of £45,000 to £60,000 dependent on experience.
Full-time, permanent position, (Part-time considered), 4-day week 8 am to 6.30pm, rota to work currently 1:4 Saturday mornings (8:30AM - 12Noon).
The practice have dedicated over 30 years to providing the best possible veterinary care and advice to pet owners. They are looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their supportive and friendly team of nine experienced Vets, including two certificate holders (ophthalmology & surgery). They are proud to be an RCVS accredited nursing training practice, with an experienced nurse team. They strive to provide outstanding care to every pet they see and promote a caring environment - they care about the future of their industry.
Their four branches are close to the beautiful Sefton coastline and North Liverpool, surrounded by beautiful coastlines and rural landscape, thier branches are nestled between Preston, Southport and Liverpool. With easy transport links to Manchester airport and the ferry port in Liverpool you`ll never be far from your next adventure.
They are keen to recruit an enthusiastic team member who has a sound grounding in first opinion practice and is happy to share their knowledge with the team. You will be able to provide valuable continuity of care to your patients and be eager to build rapport with a regular client base. You will be confident and collaborative, sometimes working in tandem with another vet, sometimes sole charge. Being an OV would be advantageous but not essential.
Benefits include 6.6 weeks paid holiday including bank holidays, £1750 CPD Allowance per annum plus 5 days paid CPD leave, RCVS/BSAVA Membership paid, Enhanced paternity, maternity, adoption, shared parental leave and surrogacy pay, CPD/training support, Company sick pay.
