Part time night RVN vacancy in West Sussex.
£36,000 - £38,500 pro rata DOE and excellent benefits.
You will work Friday Evening and/or Night between 5.30pm and 8.00am. they do not provide emergency cover overnight, outside of their own registered referral patients; therefore, the care is focused on their inpatients pre- and post-surgery.
Evening - 5.30pm - 11.00pm (5.5 hours per week)
Night - 10.30pm - 8.00am (9.5-hour per week) with a paid 1 hour break
You do not need to have previous referral experience to be considered for the position, all that they ask is that you are comfortable with all aspects of inpatient care. Full support and a full induction period will be given to ensure you feel settled within the team and your new working environment.
This is a busy, dedicated small animal orthopaedic referral practice. The veterinary team comprises of one RCVS Specialist in Small Animal Surgery, one ECVS Diplomate in Small Animal Surgery and one RCVS Advanced Practitioner. The nursing team comprises of twelve RVNs and two VNAs led by an experienced Head Nurse.
Four years ago, the practice re-located to a newly refurbished building with excellent facilities (2 operating theatres and on-site CT) in a beautiful rural setting. They are very well equipped to deal with the full range of orthopaedic procedures (THR, TPLO, CUE, arthroscopy etc).
