RVN vacancy at a hospital in Gloucestershire.
Competitive salary - £25,000 - £32,000 DOE.
Following a major redevelopment the practice are looking to expand their clinical team and are seeking a motivated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their progressive, well-equipped, practice.
Full-time or part-time, they are open to discussion.
Rota shift timings vary with a mix of earlier and later shifts. They also work some weekend shifts (currently 1 in 7) with time off in lieu given after a weekend.
They have our own dedicated night team so there are no OOH shifts although there is the opportunity the provide holiday cover if you wish.
Located in Gloucestershire which is centrally placed with excellent transport links and sits right on the edge of the Cotswolds with outstanding natural countryside and amenities right on the doorstep.
They are looking for an RVN to join their team of driven and motivated individuals, including many with post qualification certificates.
They currently have 21 Day RVNs, 2 SVNs, 6 Night Nurses and 6 kennel assistants working at this busy RCVS PSS accredited Animal Hospital.
Their nurses enjoy a great work/life balance as well as a varied caseload where schedule 3 is actively encouraged and additional training/qualifications are supported.
Applicants should be conscientious, hardworking, have a passion for providing gold standard veterinary care and be confident in all aspects of their nursing rota. As an approved training practice, being a Clinical coach would be advantageous, but not imperative. Additionally, training can be provided if you would like to support their student nurses.
They are ideally seeking someone with a strong interest in anaesthesia/ surgery but would be happy to discuss other interests.
