RVN vacancy at a practice in Cornwall (perm or FTC).
Salary - up to £33,000 (pro rata) depending on experience.
Permanent or maternity cover - open to what contract type you prefer.
They do have the ability to provide you with 40 working hours per week but if you are after part time hours or need some flexibility that works to.
Shift patterns for FTE are a 50/50 mix of early (8am - 4.30pm) and late shifts (10am-6.30pm). BH`s are on a rota basis.
FTE is primarily Mon-Fri but there is a Sat morning rota - max of 1 in 4 with TOIL the following week, no routine OOH`s !!
The ideal candidate will be:
A qualified RVN with enthusiasm and drive, keen to be part of a team of vets and nurses with a focus on good work-life balance and a friendly work environment
Confident working in all areas of veterinary nursing, but with scope to develop any particular areas of interest. Desire to help with nurse clinics would be a bonus
Ability/desire to mentor/support students/VCA`s would be a bonus but not essential.
They are a 16 vet mixed animal practice, with their daytime team of 8 nurses and night team of 3 nurses working on the small animal side of the business.
