We have a fantastic opportunity for a Night RVN to join a friendly and supportive team at an RCVS accredited mixed practice on the beautiful island of Jersey.
Competitive salary.
This role will involve working alongside their dedicated night vets working 4 nights per week for 2 weeks then 4 weeks off.
Accommodation is available for the 2 weeks on which is a shared flat above the practice. They wont be covering travel costs to and from the Island though.
The practice contains a huge range of equipment, including an in-house laboratory, ultrasound and digital x-ray tools, CT scanner, pulse oximeters and capnographs. Plus, it`s only five minutes away from the beach!
They also run a variety of nurse clinics, giving every member of the team the chance to make a real difference to local animals.
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will play a crucial role in our hospital`s operations.
Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting veterinarians during examinations and emergency surgeries
Administering medications and treatments
Monitoring and caring for hospitalised patients
Conducting laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures
Providing exceptional nursing care to our patients
Maintaining accurate records and patient files.
To be successful in this role you should have:
Current registration with the RCVS as a Veterinary Nurse
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Compassion and a genuine love for animals
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
