Full time RVN vacancy at a hospital in Lancashire.
Salary of £27000 per annum dependent on experience.
The practice are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their talented team of veterinary professionals in their pets A&E hospital. With modern facilities and equipment, including digital x-ray, ultrasound and endoscopy tools, incubators, infusion pumps and intensive care units; they deliver round the clock care to ensure their patients get the best care.
They are looking for a full-time RVN to work 7 days on and 7 off. You`ll be working 9Hr shifts Monday - Sunday from 1pm to 10pm. This is a temporary role which is required to provide cover for the maternity leave of the current job holder.
They are looking for confident RVN`s with a well-developed skillset, including but not limited to:
Pre / post-surgery patient care
Venepuncture and IV catheter placement
Diagnostic imaging preparation and processing
Medication dispensing and administering.
Your qualifications are certainly essential to success in this role, and it is expected that you will demonstrate talent and skill as a Veterinary Nurse. In addition, these qualities are important to them:
Never stop learning and to never stop sharing knowledge
Organisation and planning
Patience and kindness, especially in challenging situations.
Benefits include 6 weeks paid holiday including bank holidays, £600 CPD Allowance per annum, RCVS Membership paid, One other membership subscription, VDS cover.
