Deputy Head Nurse vacancy at a branch practice in Hartlepool.
Competitive salary depending on experience.
This is a full-time role of 40 hours per week, working across 3 sites.
This is a new position to support their current Head Nurse (of almost 30 years), offering additional support and guidance to their senior nursing team.
The practice has 11 vets who hold certificates in Surgery, Dentistry, Cardiology and Imaging, who are supported by a large administration team, 3 Senior RVNs, 8 RVNs, 4 student nurses, 1 senior ANA, and 6 ANAs.
The successful candidate must have proven leadership skills and be able to support, motivate and direct a team of varying skill and experience, whilst encouraging and supporting the team to maximise their own full potential.
Be confident with conflict resolution and management and be happy to offer in the moment feedback and advice.
Must be conscientious, motivated, passionate and strive for best practice policy whilst building a positive rapport with the entire team and their customers.
Must be happy to mentor and clinical coach.
Benefits include 6 weeks paid holiday including bank holidays, £600 CPD Allowance per annum, RCVS Membership paid, One other membership subscription, VDS cover, Enhanced paternity, maternity, adoption, shared parental leave and surrogacy pay.
