Senior RVN vacancy at a hospital in East London.
Their senior RVN salary band is £33,000 to £37,000 depending on prior experience and allowing room for growth within the role.
Ideally they are looking for a Senior RVN who thrives and excels in the ECC environment, and who has a particular bias for surgical nursing, specifically orthopaedic.
This full-time (40 hours per week) senior RVN position would be ideal for an RVN who all about theatre and thrives in the surgical environment. The theatre will be your domain, providing pivotal nursing support to your vets, including orthopaedic surgery, supporting junior colleagues when in theatre, and ensuring the surgical equipment is maintained appropriately.
Your rota will also include an average of 1:4 weekends with TOIL and up to 3 bank holidays per year.

This role would suit an experienced RVN who is already a dab hand in the theatre, and now wants to progress into a senior theatre only based role. If you already hold a surgical nursing certificate, amazing! If not, the hospital is keen to help develop their colleagues` skills further.
There is fantastic diagnostic support, with a new CT scanner, a commercial laboratory, a strong medical team, and experienced surgeons routinely conducting advanced orthopaedic, soft tissue, and minimally invasive surgery all available on site.
You will be working alongside a large team consisting of approximately 24 vets, 27 RVNs, 14 SVNs, 7 VCAs and a large front of house team who are integral in maintaining excellent client care.
