RVN vacancy at a branch practice in Eastbourne.
Up to £30,000 pro rata, dependant on experience.
40hrs over 5 days per week, shifts are variable (7.30-4.30, 8-5, 10.30-7.30). No out-of-hours work. Weekend rota to be worked on a rota basis with time off in lieu given for this.
You will join a large team of 13 vets, RVN``s and Student Veterinary Nurses in an environment that encourages teaching and learning. In addition, the nursing team is supported by a small team of Patient Care Assistants, so that RVN``s can focus on providing excellent patient care.
The RVN``s here enjoy a highly practical role, almost exclusively being responsible for taking all blood samples and placement of IV cannula``s. The nursing team are currently leading their campaign towards achieving their Practice Standards Award in Inpatient Care and would love to find an enthusiastic and motivated individual who would like the opportunity to influence this.
In addition, you will work across all areas of practice: consulting, lab, anaesthesia and inpatient care. As they employ a large reception team, reception work is not common place.
They are pleased to be able to work in a well-equipped practice and see an interesting caseload owing to that fact that many of their team have gained additional certifications.
Their primary focus is to find the right fit for their team, which is often likened to a (very large!) family. They are therefore always willing to accommodate practice tours and visits for potential candidates.
