Permanent Night RVN - In Patient Care - Referral in Aberdeenshire.
This position would be ideal for nurses who have an interest in post-surgical care. This encompasses many interesting aspects of nursing, notably analgesia, physiotherapy, fluid therapy and general husbandry. Additional training for our varied surgical caseload will be provided where required.
Even though night nurses spend part of their time working alone, they are very much part of the team and are hugely appreciated by every member of the team and the owners of the pets they are caring for.
Our client is considering 4 nights on / 8 night off or 5 nights on / 10 nights off, but are open to other suggestions and are looking forward to finding the right team members and working together to make sure that the hours work for everyone.
Salary Range: From £24,000 for 28-30 hours per week (average) This will be dependent on the finalised rota agreed with the successful applicants.
Pension enrolment
6 weeks` holidays, increasing with years of service

RCVS and VDS memberships funded
Cost-price treatment for your own pets (fair use policy applies)
Relocation expenses may be available for the successful candidate
The practice strives to constantly offer the best care possible, and ongoing CPD along with studies for further qualifications will be encouraged and supported.?
They can offer the opportunity for RVNs to perform Schedule 3 procedures (with appropriate training) and the chance to assist with or provide CPD for their referring practices.
