Vet vacancy at an independent practice in Taunton.
A salary of £40,000 to £60,000.
The practice are ideally looking for a vet with some experience to join their team. They can be flexible with the rota so whether you are looking for full or part-time hours they will be happy to chat to you.
They have a dedicated out-of-hours provider who covers the nights from 7pm to 8am and bank holidays and they share the daytime weekend OOHs with another local practice.
Their weekend rota is just 1:4 which includes Saturday morning consults until 1pm followed by being on call for emergencies until 7pm on Saturday and between 8am to 7pm on Sunday. For less experienced vets, backup is always available whether you need advice or an extra pair of hands.
Thee days are scheduled to include a mixture of consults and operating so there is plenty of time to follow your interests and develop your skills with the support of their experienced team.
They fully support career development so if you`re looking to take on a certificate they are happy to invest in training and equipment. If you`re looking to the future, then they are also happy to chat about the very real prospects of partnership that they can offer.
They are an RCVS-approved nurse training practice and they have an amazing nursing team of 2 RVNS, 2 qualified nurses, and 1 SVN.
They have all the usual kit including digital x-ray, ultrasound with Doppler, and in-house laboratory.
