Vet vacancy at a 24 hour practice in Monmouthshire.
A competitive salary of £35,000-£60,000 FTE depending on experience.
Full-time - 4 days per week including 1:5 full Saturdays and 1:20 Saturday mornings, working across our 4 branches, with the possibility of a bias towards one branch.
On-call rota - 1:6 pattern (in-patients only), standard day - 8.45am start with last appointment 6.15pm (we have 15-minute appointments), protected time for phone calls/ case work, dedicated 1 hour lunch break, no OOH`s.
They have a knowledgeable and experienced team with a diverse range of specialist skills and interests, including internal medicine, orthopaedics, and feline care.
Their team consists of 13 vets, including certificate holders in Surgery, Medicine, and Radiology as well as a visiting Cardiologist- meaning there is excellent case support when required and great learning opportunities.
There is a great mix of consulting and operating. In-patient 24-hour care is provided Monday to Friday at their main site with their fantastic team of RVN`s providing overnight care, and their on-call vet available for support as required.
Benefits include CPD: 5 days and £1750 pa FTE, 28 days Holiday including Bank Holidays FTE, Pension, Visa sponsorship, RCVS + VDS + two other professional memberships paid, Option to buy and sell Holiday + Enhanced maternity, paternity, and sick pay.
