Night Vet vacancy at a hospital in Buckinghamshire.
Salary - £60,000-£80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Shift pattern - 7 nights on, 14 off, each shift - 13 hrs waking shift from 19.00 - 08.00.
The Night Vet is supported by a very experienced team, your direct colleagues consisting of two fully qualified RVN`s - 1 Night Nurse 19:00-08:00 and 1 RVN Twilight Nurse until 23:00 each evening.
The night team work seamlessly with their day team, handing over to a dedicated In-Patient Vet and Ward Nurse Team, ensuring excellent continuity of care.
The practice is fitted out with a full range of diagnostic and surgical equipment, allowing the team to work to the highest standards. As well as serving as the OOH for their own clients, they provide the OOH cover for several local practices.
The ideal applicant would be a capable all-rounder, confident with sole charge including surgery. Someone who strives for high clinical standards and enjoys the challenge of emergency practice and critical care cases. Good communication skills and customer service are a must!
Accommodation available during your “on” week - self-contained self-catered flat at the practice
