Vet vacancy at a branch practice in Runcorn.
An excellent salary - up to £70,000 for an experienced vet.
The practice are currently looking for a Small Animal Vet to join their current team. The role can be based on 3 days per week but they will also consider a full-time vet who wishes to work over a 4/5-day week.
The Practice is a busy, friendly, and welcoming practice that sees a diverse range of cases, they have had a recent refurbishment and are proud of their new practice. They regularly get involved in all pet related aspects in the local community, from local small dogs shows, to school visits, career fairs and raising money for local charities.
The Role - It will involve working with another 3 full-time vets plus supporting on the weekend and bank holiday rota. On a Saturday (1:4) sole charge plus Sundays (1:12) and bank holidays (1/2 per year) working at their sister practice. There are no OOHs within this role, all patients are looked after by their OOH team.
The Person - They are looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, first opinion SA practice. They enjoy working together as a team, supporting each other and clinical discussions. If you are interested in being a Vet GDP advisor and supporting new graduates or wish to do a certificate in the future these are both possibilities.
Benefits include 6.6 weeks holiday entitlement including bank holidays, Workplace pension scheme, RCVS membership reimbursed and VDS cover, CPD allowance of £1750 (this would increase for a certificate holder), Certificates funded and strongly encouraged, Life Insurance x1 salary, Volunteering leave, 1 day paid each year.
