Vet vacancy at a branch practice in Norfolk.

Full or part time.

They are open to Flexible working; the role has no OOH or Weekend working!

With a Salary of £40,000-£60,000 pro rata depending on experience.

The practice have an enthusiastic and friendly team with great facilities. The whole team is involved in shaping all changes within the clinic, and they welcome all ideas. Above all, they focus on looking after their team.

The team is dedicated to providing the best possible care to their patients, with all the up-to-date equipment you would expect in a modern clinic and have established gold standard clinical protocols.

They have separate cat, dog and exotic wards to keep our patients as stress free as possible.
They have a separate dental suite.
They have a separate imaging room with up-to-date digital x-ray and ultrasound equipment.
They have a well-equipped in-house laboratory.
They have three spacious consultation rooms.
A large waiting room with separate areas for cats, dogs and anxious pets
They have a separate quiet room for euthanasia`s, with toys, treats and a sofa. A great nonclinical area for their clients to say their final goodbyes.
They have a highly skilled nursing team and have in place several specialist nursing clinics, such as dermatology, diabetic, weight management, puppy preschool.

They have nurses completing a range of further qualifications including Schedule 3 procedures, ultrasonography, advanced medical nursing, anaesthesia, feline behaviour and dermatology.

They have two in-house behaviourists that work within their client care team. They run behaviour appointments and training sessions on a weekly basis.

Vets can benefit from utilising the support available from other veterinary specialists/colleagues via Zoetis DX and Vet on the Net..

They are an eco-friendly practice, that is mindful of their carbon footprint and their effect on the environment.

They have set up a wildlife fund which allows them to treat stray animals and wildlife.

You can bring your dog to work with you every day! They have their own own staff kennelling facilities.

The practice is in a lovely village on the Norfolk/Suffolk border. A 20-minute train ride from the near by town will take you to the fantastic city of Norwich and in just under 2hrs you could be soaking up the atmosphere and checking out the sights in London. The beautiful beach at Southwold is not far and they have Thetford Forest nearby.

Accommodation can be offered initially in their two-bedroom spacious flat. Access to a vehicle can be offered for the first 3 months of commencing work with them if required.

The role includes 20-minute consultations, Cat and Rabbit friendly clinics, balance of medical and surgical cases.

Benefits include 6.6 weeks annual holiday, including Bank Holidays (pro rata), Paid overtime or time off in lieu, work Visa, accommodation and transportation available for up to 3 months if needed, £1,750 CPD budget and 5 days leave every year, RCVS fees and two other professional membership fees covered, length of Service rewards.
