RVN vacancy at a centre of excellence in Surrey.
£31,500 to £34,000 Dependent on qualifications.
The practice are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) for a 12 Months Maternity Cover contract to join their expanding nursing team of 40 Veterinary Care Assistants, RVNs, and Senior RVNs.
You do not need previous referral experience as you will be fully supported by their clinical team in an induction process tailored to your individual experience and requirements. You should be committed to professional development and looking to be challenged in a busy referral environment. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills to an advanced nursing level.
The role is 40 hours a week, working four 10 hour shifts per week to include weekends, on calls and bank holidays on a rotational basis.
This role involves delivering inpatient care in wards to a high standard, monitoring anaesthesia and sedations for patients going through imaging and surgery, alongside the Clinical Nursing Instructor in Anaesthesia, and delivering specific chemotherapy and drug protocols alongside client communication, with the specialised medical oncology team.
