RVN vacancy at a 24 hour practice in West Sussex.
Up to £36K depending on experience.
They offer a 4 or 5 day week, with a 1:4 weekend rota, with TOIL for weekends worked.
Are you a passionate and dynamic Registered Veterinary Nurse looking for a fast-paced and exciting work environment? They practice are looking for a dedicated and experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse who values patient care and progression to join their expanding team as they expand their services even further.
They have just recently launched their new and exciting 24-hour service, with some of the best ECC Vets & RVNs around! Their practice is currently being renovated, and they will soon have on-site access to a CT Scanner, alongside a new cat ward and consult room, a large prep area, an isolation area, separate dog kennels, a lovely theatre, an x-ray room, and in-house lab.
Their current Vet team are amazing, their Lead Vet is an Orthopaedic Surgeon, with interests in regenerative medicine and absolutely loves offering support to any team members in the practice. Their Vet Team have lots of exciting interests creating a super well-rounded team, with interests including Dentistry, Medicine, Imaging, Cytology, Endoscopy/ Endo-surgery, Soft-Tissue Surgery, Dermatology and more!
Their RVN & Support Teams are second to none - they come with years of experience and are vital in the running of the practice. They love their RVN Team to progress and grow - and that``s why the majority of their management team come from nursing backgrounds.
They have a really exciting and varied caseload where you`ll be fully involved in cases including Orthopaedics, TPLOs, Fracture Repairs, Complex Medical Cases, Laparoscopic Spays, and much, much more, giving you the opportunity to work within your own areas of interest - whether you are an all rounder and enjoy all areas of nursing, or maybe surgery, wards, anaesthesia, or intensive care is your thing, they are happy to foster your interests and help you become the RVN you strive to be.
There is so much potential to progress into diverse roles such as Lead or Senior RVN roles, dedicated theatre or Wards nursing, or even move into management down the line!
With this position, you have the opportunity to support their nursing and support teams with clinical coaching opportunities and the chance to further progress your career through CPD and further certification support.
Interested in ECC? They are a 24-hour site with a dedicated night team, but they love everyone to get involved to create an amazing atmosphere and really feel like a team. That``s why they would love for you to join their on-call rota, pledging 7 night shifts a year (With a lovely little bonus to say thank you!).
As a RVN, you`ll play an integral part of their dedicated day team, providing compassionate care and support to patients in need. They are looking for someone with strong clinical skills and the ability to handle emergency situations with confidence. You must have excellent communication skills and teamworking abilities and have a compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
