Clinical Nurse Lead vacancy at a referral practice in Surrey.

the practice are looking for an experienced registered veterinary nurse who has previous experience in people management and shares their vision to marry compassionate care with excellence in veterinary medicine. As clinical nurse lead, you will line manage a portion of their nursing team with direct responsibility for approximately 15 veterinary nurses and care assistants. You will work as part of the nursing management team to provide clinical and wellbeing support to the entire nursing team.
This role requires exceptional leadership skills, someone with a positive attitude who shows compassion and direction, and who is able to manage teams within a fast-paced environment. This is a clinical role, so you must possess clinical confidence and competence, along with the ability to make decisions. You will be empathetic and supportive and act as a positive role model at all times. Experience with orthopaedic and neurology patients would be an advantage but is not essential.
This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week over 5 days, working as part of the nursing rota with allocated admin time each week. The nursing rota includes weekends and a share of the bank holidays. In return, you will be part of a dedicated team delivering the best compassionate care, surgical excellence and rehabilitation for their patients. You will also receive a workplace pension, life assurance, company sick pay and access to an employee assistance programme.
