Vet vacancy at a hospital in East London.
The salary band for this full-time position is £45,000 to £73,000 (FTE) depending on prior experience and growth within the role.
They are ideally looking for an applicant with an internal medicine certificate (although not a necessity) or a strong GP vet looking to focus more on medicine, particularly diagnostic imaging, and who wants to work in a fast-paced hospital with a large and complex case load enabling them to develop their skills in this area.
This full-time role is based on a 40-hour week, inclusive of weekend rotation, and involves a fair on-call rotation and 2 bank holidays per year.
The shift pattern is made up of 9am to 7pm and 12pm to 10pm shifts, so you will have the opportunity to work with both their day and dedicated night team.
The hospital provides an excellent first opinion, emergency, critical care, and referral service to their clients and local network of 20 branches and works to the highest clinical standards.
There is excellent diagnostic support, with a CT scanner, a commercial laboratory, a strong medical team that you will be part of, and experienced surgeons routinely conducting advanced orthopaedic, soft tissue, and minimally invasive surgery all available on site. You will also be fully supported by a team of experienced hospital vets including certificate holders, their incredible nursing team made up of experienced RVN``s, students, nursing assistants and front of house team, as well as on site clinical managers.
