Are you an experienced Veterinary Surgeon ready to take that next step in your career? Or are you a Clinical Director who is passionate about leading a highly respected and long-established practice?

As the Clinical Director, you will be responsible for the overall leadership of the practice and will work to drive forward clinical services, commercial performance, and team development. You will have a passion for delivering the best possible service and outcomes for patients, clients, and associates.

Your role will be an exciting and varied one. You will be responsible for line managing the lead vets and senior leadership team at the practice. Your clinical work will have a mixture of in-patient care time, surgery, and consultations, and you will have the opportunity for case continuity and to build great rapport with their lovely clients.

They are keen to support specific interests, especially if you are working towards or currently hold a certificate relevant to small animal primary care practice.

The practice was established over 100 years ago and is a small animal, primary care practice in Staffordshire and Warwickshire. Both of their sites are based in lovely market towns just a 15-minute drive from the city of Birmingham. They have easy access to the city or the more peaceful countryside surroundings, and Birmingham airport is just a 30-minute drive away.

As a practice, they are proud of their closely-knit, supportive team. The majority of whom have 20 years of service! They are all motivated individuals who are passionate about high standards and the pets in their care. They are a 9 Veterinary Surgeon team with a certificate holder in Ophthalmology with three further Vets also working towards certificates including surgery and emergency and critical care (ECC). Investing in their associates and professional development is important to us and is actively encouraged.

They see a varied caseload of routine and more advanced primary care services including orthopedic surgery, laparoscopic spay and laparoscopic biopsy, soft tissue surgery, eye, heart, and skin treatments, arthritis management and cancer treatment. They also offer referral services in ophthalmology. The two practices are light and spacious and have a great range of equipment available including Digital X-ray, ultrasound at both sites, large and small endoscope, electrocautery, cryotherapy, ophthalmic loops, dental equipment, orthopaedic air-powered tools, slit lamp, tono pens and more.

They predominantly care for cats and dogs across the Staffordshire area, but they occasionally see small furries and even the odd chicken!
