Night Vet vacancy at a hospital in Brighton.
Salary of £55 -£60k, depending on experience and qualifications.
4 nights on 8 nights off.
The practice are looking for an experienced and approachable team player who has an active interest in Emergency and Critical Care.
The hospital has 8 consulting rooms, dedicated Cat, dog, exotic, isolation and day procedure wards. Three theatres, and prep areas, CT, dental suite and full inhouse lab with a dedicated lab technician.
Two dedicated hospital vets manage the hospitalized medical caseload during the day, and handover to the night team including RVN and Animal Nursing Assistant. They have a separate exotics team during the day, so the nights include the care of exotic inpatients.
The team has multiple certificate holders and colleagues with a huge range of clinical interests and expertise, including referral services for orthopaedics, ophthalmology, advanced imaging, and exotics.
They are committed to continuing the further development of their team members, with ample opportunity for learning and development through dedicated in-house and external CPD.
Benefits include 6.6 weeks holiday per year, including Bank Holidays (pro rata), Enhanced sick, maternity, and paternity pay, RCVS and VDS fees covered, plus one other subscription, £1,750 towards CPD (more if a certificate holder) and 5 days leave (pro rata).
