Vet vacancy at a practice in South Glamorgan.

Salary - 40-60k.

FTC to cover maternity leave - up to 12 months.

Manage and oversee the day-to day clinical case load, alongside their team of superstars, at one of their branches. There is also the option to include some work at their hospital (awarded RCVS outstanding status) if interested. They can be accommodating as to where you would rather work.

This could be the role for you if you:

Thrive in and enjoy contributing to a positive, supportive and successful team
Are passionate about delivering outstanding care
Are proactive - following your cases through from consultation to diagnosis and treatment, where appropriate.

They are a friendly and supportive team of incredible people, working out of purpose-built premises. The main hospital and 4 other branches across South Wales are RCVS accredited and have Silver Cat Friendly status and of course have all the mod-cons you would expect.

The practice is headed by 5 young Clinical Directors, who can be found “on the front line” working alongside you. They pride themselves on being friendly and approachable and every member of the team is valued - they welcome everyone`s ideas and contributions.

They are a practice that imposes no commercial targets on any of their employees....so you can concentrate on what`s most important - continuing their delivery of excellent clinical care.

All they ask of their team is that they come to work and leave each day knowing that they have done their absolute best.

They welcome diversity and their team are from all walks of life - surfers, hikers, footballers, rugby players, ice hockey supporters, kayakers, dungeons and dragons players, coffee shop connoisseurs and many more!

They are flexible with working arrangements wherever possible.

They are proud of their in-house OOH service with the majority of their Vets taking part in either the first-on-call night rota or the second-on-call back up rota. However, they do understand that many of you have commitments and OOH work may not be suitable.

They are blessed to be situated in an area where you have the option of being able to head to the bright lights of Cardiff to the East, and Swansea to the West, the rugged Brecon Beacons to the North, and the award-winning beaches to the South. The area offers an abundance of things for you to do in your downtime away from work.

Benefits include 28 days (6.6 weeks) holiday per year, which is inclusive of Bank Holidays, 2 weeks full sick pay and 2 weeks half sick pay, Royal College fees, and another professional subscription of your choice paid for.
