Vet vacancy at a branch practice in Surrey.
Salary - up to £65,000 per annum (pro rata, based on 40 hrs/wk.)
20-40 hours per week, Shift pattern and hours negotiable, No OOH`s, No weekend shifts.
The practice are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon, ideally with a minimum of 2 years in clinic experience to join them at their RCVS accredited small animal practice.
They have a great, loyal team with longevity of staff. They offer a personal touch to pet care in their local village, which is in the Surrey countryside, just next to the West Sussex border. They are only half an hour from Horsham and Guildford and 40mins from the south coast.
The Practice is set in a beautiful old, converted barn, with 2 consult rooms, full operating theatre, digital x-ray, ultrasound and inhouse lab machines. They ensure that that their vets get to operate daily and have time set aside for calls, with appointments saved for `on the day` emergencies.
They have an excellent team which comprises of 2 vets and a great, supportive and proactive nurse team.
Benefits include Annual leave 6.6 weeks pro rata (including Bank holidays), Company sick pay - 2 weeks full pay, 2 weeks half pay then statutory sick pay (pro rata), RCVS and VDS memberships paid, One other organisation paid for (ie BVA BSAVA etc), CPD £1750.00 and 5-days allowance (pro rata), Health Shield, health plan.
