Night RVN vacancy at a hospital in Somerset.
Salary - £36,000 - £38,500 per annum (pro rata).
This is an average 31.5hrs/week position with a rolling rota of 4 nights on, 7 nights off, 3 nights on, 7 nights off. The shift is 19.00 hrs -08.30 hrs.
The practice is based in the beautiful area of Somerset close to the coast. They see a good variety of small animal cases including exotics and wildlife. They want their colleagues to pursue their interests and so certificates and CPD are encouraged and funded.
The role will involve working alongside the dedicated night vet and together providing care for the inpatients, as well as preparing for OOH surgeries and carrying out anaesthesia. You will also work alongside a twilight ACA who will support with animal care and infection control, and a twilight RVN who will be involved with patient triage and arranging appointments.
As a hospital they see a range of species and a varied caseload ranging from traumas, toxin ingestions, blocked bladders, GDVs, C-sections and much more!
