Salary up to £70,000 DOE plus a relocation allowance up to £10,000 and welcome bonus up to £10,000
There will be a share of the large animal OOH rota (1 in 4 but aiming ultimately to be 1 in 5) for the mixed vet position. They currently outsource their small animal OOH, breakdown of 70% small animal, 15% large animal, and 15% equine, accommodating preferences.
Our client has 2 sites, and keeps a lot of small animal surgery in house, including orthopaedics. They are progressive in their large animal approach, with most farmers now engaged in health planning. Equine work is done to a high first opinion standard, helped by DR X-ray and video endoscope.
The team consists of 5 full-time equivalent vets, 5 registered veterinary nurses, 1 student veterinary nurse, 1 practice manager, and 5 support staff.
