Twilight Veterinary Surgeon - Small Animal working 1 out of 3 weeks
You will be joining a dedicated and hardworking team with access to excellent facilities including digital X-Ray, CT, MRI, blood pressure monitoring & ECG, on site laboratory, dental X-ray, ultrasound, and more. We are looking for someone who strives for clinical excellence, is committed to client and patient care, has a passion to do things right clinically and importantly is a great team player.
You will be working in an enriching environment where you will use your clinical skills to provide a high standard of emergency and out of hours care to a wide variety of cases.
"You will work alongside the rest of the dedicated EVS team, including our Night Veterinary Surgeons, night and twilight Registered Veterinary nurses and a dedicated team of Care Assistants. You will be assisting the night vet providing overnight in-patient care at a dedicated 24-hour hospital, meaning the majority of our patients stay on site for the duration of their treatment. Our twilight team provides the essential support for the transition between day and night teams. The Emergency Veterinary Service works alongside the Rowe Veterinary Group, as well as providing OOH cover for numerous practices locally. As part of EVS you have access to the team at Rowe Veterinary Group for case support and guidance if needed.
The team are an experienced team of Veterinary Surgeons with many of the team holding certificates. You will also care for patients who are hospitalised by our Referral department in a variety of disciplines, including Ophthalmology, Soft Tissue, Oncology, Orthopaedics, Neurology and Dentistry."
You will be required to work 4 shifts of 8 hours every 3 weeks. Shift times are approximately 5pm to 1am. This role would suit someone with experience of ECC work or someone wishing to pursue an interest in ECC within a fully supported environment.
