Head Nurse required to work across 2 dynamic practices in East Sussex-salary up to £37k.
Main responsibilities:
Lead and manage the nursing teams at both practices, ensuring high standards of care.
Oversee clinical operations, including surgical and medical nursing care.
Mentor and support junior nurses and veterinary assistants.
Implement and maintain best practices and protocols in line with RCVS standards.
Coordinate with veterinarians and other staff to ensure seamless patient care.
Manage nursing schedules, training programs, and performance evaluations.
Facilitate communication between the two practices to promote consistency and efficiency.
Ideally this person will have a minimum of 5 years experience and have strong organizational and communication skills.
The team of 5 vets offers a wealth of experience with several certificate holders including surgery, cardiology, and medicine. We have a team of 5 dedicated Nurses, 2 Student Nurses, plus 8 Support team members.
6.6 weeks annual leave
