Salary up to £75,000 depending on experience, plus welcome bonus up to £5000
This is a first-opinion GP medicine role; your day-to-day duties will include a mix of consulting and operating shifts. We welcome vets with any interest in orthopaedics, soft tissue surgery and medicine and we will always encourage your growth and development.
The full-time position includes working 4 days a week with 1:5 Saturdays which are incorporated within your hours. We are also happy to consider part-time applications.
Surgery opening hours are 8:30 am-6 pm. Typically a full-time shift would be required to work 8:30 am - 6:30 pm with a one-hour lunch break.
The practice have top-of-the-range facilities including an ultrasound machine, endoscope, dental radiography and Idexx in-house lab equipment.
The team consists of 6 vets with a mix of full and part-time, with a minimum average of 4 vets per day. They have a large nursing team to help support the vets to let you be able to do what you do best. Their nurses are always on hand and most are comfortable with schedule 3 procedures.
They run a satellite clinic from the Surgery every Tuesday afternoon for viviting ophthalmology specialist
