Lead Veterinary Surgeon - Small Animal Salary to £75,000 DOE, Welcome Bonus up to £5000 , up to £6,000 Relocation Allowance
The vacancy can offer both full and part-time hours. No out-of-hours work is required, and you will only need to work one Saturday morning (8:30-12:30) every four weeks. 5 day week (40 hours) for a full time role.
Our clients is made up of a Tier 3 Hospital supporting 5 branch sites and serve as an RVN training centre. The branch is equipped with two operating theatres, a dental engine, four consultation rooms, and separate dog and cat wards. They are continuously improving our services and will soon be adding dental x-ray capabilities. This branch is perfect for a veterinary surgeon looking to develop their career and leadership aspirations.
You should have a good length of experience in a small animal practice. An ability to lead and inspire other vets and support staff. Desire to grow the client base and expand services provided. Run your team with friendly, approachable, and caring attitude towards pets, owners, and staff with strong leadership skills.
The practice is comprised of a dedicated team of 14 vets, 11 RVNs (including 2 in training), and approximately 50 support staff across all sites. At this branch, you will be working alongside 2-3 vets and 5 support staff. They are proud to have 5 certificate holders at the hospital, specializing in ophthalmology, surgery, and emergency medicine. As part of a commitment to the community, they regularly deliver school presentations and support several local rescue societies.
