Salary up to £65,000 DOE, Relocation Allowance up to £5,000 plus Welcome Bonus up to £5000

This role presents an opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to shape their working day by establishing a focus in a particular area of interest, allowing for personalised caseload development, encompassing a balanced caseload across medicine, surgery, and imaging.

This can be on a full or part time basis. Working hours are from 08:30 to 18:30, allowing an hour for lunch and dedicated administrative time. Additionally, a share of Saturday mornings from 08:30 to 13:00 is part of the role.

They have a hugely experienced CD with an encyclopaedic knowledge of general practice, offers acupuncture and is an OV. Senior Vet holds a Medicine Certificate, is a GDP advisor and mentors the team. They have two other experienced Vets (one doing an exotics Certificate the other an OV) and two younger team members who now are three and two years post graduating. They are looking for someone special to fit in with this team and enjoy its diversity.

Our Client would like someone who has:

Drive to work towards clinical excellence within first opinion practice
Passion for small animal practice
RCVS registered
Desire to provide a high standard of veterinary medicine, to the pets under our care
Integrity when working with the clinical team to drive the strong principles that the practice adheres to
Responsibility to the pets under their care, making strong and confident clinical recommendations
Growth in wanting to progress your clinical knowledge and skill development, which in turn contributes to the growth of the practice and the clinical team
Confidence in making strong clinical recommendations and being able to coach less experienced team members in making these
Support with less experienced team members in discussing medical work ups
