Lead Vet opportunity in Essex.

From £70,000 per annum (FTE) depending on experience.

40 hours per week over 4 days (set day off each week) Part time applications welcome, 1 in 4 Saturdays on rota (alternating between and full and a half day). No nights, no on call and no Sundays.

Currently they have a team of robust general practice clinicians, however further pursuit of one`s own special interests are encouraged and supported. They have an ultrasonographer visiting once weekly to retain their more complex medicine cases in- house. Retention of cases and bond with clients is encouraged also. Additionally, they have an ongoing, excellent relationship with peripatetic orthopaedic/ soft tissue surgeon(s) who are happy to support with orthopaedic and soft tissue cases- including interpreting those challenging orthopaedic xrays!

They are looking for an experienced, dedicated veterinary surgeon, who strives to provide the best level of care for all their patients and their owners. This role may also be suitable for someone looking to progress in their career into a leadership position within clinical practice.

You should enjoy working as part of a multi- vet team and be confident in providing mentorship and support to colleagues. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate confidently with associates at all levels.

You will be able to prioritise your work based on clinical priority and importance. The successful applicant can expect to work in a happy and supportive environment, with their dedicated experienced nurses, patient care team right through to their client care team.
