This Veterinary Hospital is a first opinion and referral centre. Referral patients are seen at both the cat clinic and the hospital. Both clinics have separate theatres and prep, digital xray, dental theatre (including dental x-ray), separate species-specific wards and isolation, brand new K laser for both therapeutic treatments & surgery, multiparameter machines for patient monitoring, and a variety of endoscopes, CT and a Cryopen. Laparoscopic surgery is also performed at the hospital. The team love to ultrasound scan and help teaching new scanning skills and techniques to colleagues. They have a teaching environment of vet students, and student nurses. The Hospital has 24-hour inpatient care. The team have a wealth of support with colleagues at many different stages of development. Some newly qualified vets and nurses with all their new taught knowledge and skills, up to referral medics and diploma holding nurses to help. They encourage their nurses with schedule 3 work in terms of nerve blocks, stich ups, tail amputations, etc with nurses being fully supported to learn these skills.

vets: 14 (1 vet ECC certificate and small animal surgery, 3 vets in internal medicine, 1 in feline medicine,) Nurses: 12 (1 RVN has a diploma in anaesthesia and analgesia, and another 2 RVNs boast certificates in ECC and medical nursing, as well as (x2 SVNs). Client Care Team: 11 (3x VCA``s) and (2x Dispensary technicians).

We are looking for an enthusiastic nurse to join this team to mainly work at the hospital, with some shifts at our dedicated cat only clinic. As a team they always try to do their bit for charity, working closely with a few animal charities, do fund raisers and go to their local events.
