A vacancy has arisen for a locum Vet to join this practice based in Hertfordshire.
Week commencing 3rd, 17th & 24th February
11th July for 1 month
The practice are 55% Farm 40% Equine and 5% Small, they often refer small to the RVC if they need hospitalization.
Opening hours 9am - 5pm Monday- Fridays and evenings and weekend emergency cover only
They would need a mixed vet happy for sole charge when out of hours
The large animal work is mainly beef, with the odd sheep, goat and alpaca. There is a 40% spilt with Equine but as long as you can cover the basics for colic call outs, stitch ups and vaccinations they are happy to refer the other cases. Small animal is only for the on call for this clinics clients only.
They don`t have the accommodation but there are some reasonable air b&bs near to the practice, the practice can offer £50 per night towards this. They will provide a 4x4 vehicle .
